My name is Ignazio, I'm an architect and over the years I specialized in the refresching of the building of my historic center, Ortigia. Our apartments are located in a ancient building dated 1743, that originally housed a printing house. I renovated these spaces while respecting the preservation of the original structure, but in a modern key and without sacrificing comfort.
My partner Vera and I, both passionate about travel and exploration, manage these apartments together, appreciating how this allows us to connect with people from around the world. Our goal is to host the same guests repeatedly: to see them return to Ortigia and choose to stay at 1743LOft again...! It's happened before, and we hope it happens again!
